The initial open enrollment period for LifeWise health plan coverage has ended. We are now in an enrollment extension period that runs through January 15, 2024. If you’re still interested in LifeWise health plan coverage for 2024, enroll before January 15, 2024, for coverage that begins February 1.
The open enrollment extension period is also important for members who are switching to a Cascade Select plan for the first time. If that’s you, you are now on the Alpine Network. Further, if you did not understand that switching to Cascade Select meant a change in network, or if that switch was unintentional, you have until January 15, 2024 to change your coverage.

First, let’s be clear about what a network is. In the health plan ecosystem, a network consists of medical providers (doctors, hospitals, labs, and therapists) that contract with health plans such as LIfeWise to provide services to its members at negotiated rates.
With any plan or network change, it’s a good idea to make sure the doctors you love are in your new network. Use the Find a Doctor tool to validate if your doctors participate in the Alpine network. For additional assistance using the tool, we’ve put together a guide for you.
If you find that your doctors do not participate in the Alpine Network, the Find a Doctor tool can help you find a new provider. You can also make changes to your plan coverage until January 15, 2024 for coverage starting February 1, 2024, if you’d like to continue seeing your current provider.
